 Our Mission Statement:
We at Lisbon Baptist Church desire to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost, grow mature believers through discipleship, and serve others through missions in the community, state, nation, and world. By studying the inerrant Word of God and prayerfully seeking His will, we aim to become a lighthouse to people of all ages and walks of life, with the ultimate goal of worshipping and glorifying our Creator in all that we do.
What's Happening at LBC:
Here's a preview of upcoming events (also check the Calendar Page, listed on the website main menu above):
--Youth basketball practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays: middle-high school boys on Tuesday nights at 7pm, middle-high school girls on Thursday at 6pm. Games have started--check church announcements on Sunday mornings for the following week's game locations and times.
--It's time to prepare for Youth Week at Caswell this summer! We are currently finding out who is interested in attending this summer--date TBA. This trip is open to all rising 6th-9th grade (meaning this is the grade your child will be in during the 2012-13 school year); we also need chaperones who are willing to help with preparing meals and working as teacher/assistant teacher. Please contact Elizabeth Groves if you are interested no later than February 5th.
--Get ready for dinner and a movie! We will be showing "Courageous" and serving a lasagna dinner on Friday, Feb. 10th at 7pm. Donations will be collected as a fundraiser for LBC youth programs. Join us for some good food and an excellent movie!

LISBON WORSHIP CENTER
Coming soon to White Plains Church Rd. right across from the Lisbon Ballfield. We are so excited to announce the upcoming building! Lisbon Worship Center will house many ministries, a school, Lisbon Youth Center, Emergency shelter, a place for traveling evangelists or missionaries to rest, and much more. Help be a part of such a wonderful place for God to work. Contributions to our building fund would be an excellent way to remember or honor a friend or loved one, and all contributions are tax-deductible. Send contributions to LBC, 4588 Lisbon Rd. Clarkton, NC 28433--please be sure to make a notation that your contribution is for the building fund and who the contribution is in honor/memory of. Thank you and God bless!
